Michael Wolfgang served twice from Northampton Co., PA: August 6, 1776 - May 14, 1778 as a private, 5th class in Captain Fisher's 7th Co., 2nd Batallion in the Northampton Militia; 1780 - 1782 as a 2nd Corporal, 11 Batallion, Lt. Col Stephen Balliat, Northampton Militia; 1782-1783 as a Corporal in Captain Daniel Good's 3rd Co., 11th Batallion when they were called up for 60 days for frontier duty. Michael Wolfgang is buried in Friedens Cemetery, Hegins Twp., Schuylkill County, PA.
